It can't get much easier. At eAegis, we prepare your unit with drives installed, format to the appropriate RAID Level, burn test the system for 48hrs prior to shipping. When you get your system you simply plug in, install the setup utility, and you are ready to go. This is only applicable to orders placed for pre-installed drives. Not applicable to barebone system orders. |

LaCie offers this spare drive and drawer for use with our 12big Rack Fibre and 12big Rack Serial. In the unlikely event of a drive failure, having a spare drive and drawer that are easily hot swappable increases security and efficiency. Note: the capacity of your spare drive must be equal to or higher than the capacity of the drive that is being replaced.
