eAegis Launches a New Technical Series and "The Inside Scoop"
In an effort to educate our customers to enable them to get the most out of their NAS investments, we have launched a new Technical Bulletin Series on eaegis.com. These bulletins are filled with information on topics that explain technical issues in three main categories: connectivity, features and hard drives.
Our technical staff is well versed and very knowledgeable in all things NAS. We want to share this knowledge with our customers. Customers should take some time to read the bulletins and gain a better understanding of their units. Should they have any questions about a particular article or if there is a topic they would like us to cover, we are encouraging them to let us know. We are happy to share our expertise with them.
Below is a list of our currently published bulletins. We are busy creating more in the coming months. They will be posted on the site and we will announce them in our newsletter when a new one appears.

What's "The Inside Scoop"??
"The inside Scoop is a quick snippet of information that I really want to share with potential buyers of NAS systems who know what they want but aren't clear on reliability, quality and maybe feature issues that are inconspicuous. Working within the technical division for eAegis, Inc. by assisting in the areas of configuration right through to testing and ensuring QA is carried out and the order is shipped as specified, I feel sufficiently qualified to share salient but pertinent information with potential users." - Author: Gulamabbas Mawji
- Thecus N5500
Having worked with a plethora of manufacturers and more configurations then the total population of China all told, as such, it has been an arduous task to select a NAS device that has stood out in all sense of the word. There is however one unit that has captured my attention. Thecus N5500 boasts enterprise like features that are normally not readily available in any top of the range 5-bay and above NAS systems.
